TranquiliTea

relaxing tea blend

Introduction

If you’re wishing for a magic potion to replace chewing your way to peace of mind, your wish is granted. BalaFive™ presents to you the practical magic of TranquiliTea! TranquiliTea contains six ingredients that promote restful sleep, reduce depression and anxiety, and shift brain waves into pleasurable relaxation. Scientific studies confirm TranquiliTea can elevate mood without the drowsiness or withdrawal symptoms that are common side effects of pharmaceutical tranquilizers.

For weight management, the ingredients in TranquiliTea curb appetite and help inhibit the production of fat cells, while helping to breakdown existing fat cells.

TranquiliTea targets all five systems, Sensory, Digestive, Fat Cells, Metabolism, and Endocrine, with special emphasis on 1 and 3, enhancing relaxation while reducing body weight and waist size.

Ingredients

TranquiliTea is a harmonious blend of calming botanicals: AstraGin™, Theanine, Saffron Extract, Cyracos®, Passiflora, and WellTrim® IG, and Black Pepper.

AstraGin™

ASTRAGIN™ is a standardized combination of two well-researched Chinese roots, Panax notoginseng and Astragalus membranaceus. Astragin™ enhances the absorption of essential nutrients important to weight management and boosts daily energy. Astragin™ also raises levels of serotonin, the chemical messenger that reduces stress and depression, improves sleep, and diminishes compulsive eating.

Saffron Extract

SAFFRON EXTRACT from the saffron flower acts via the reuptake inhibition of dopamine, glutamate, norepinephrine and serotonin. It improves memory, inhibits neuronal degeneration, has anti-oxidative properties and reduces signs of depression. Safranal, one of the main components in Saffron Extract increases serotonin concentration in the synapses, which correspondingly increases the propagation signals that influence satiety and mood. Serotonin deficiency has been linked to stress-induced carbohydrate cravings.

Theanine

THEANINE is an amino acid extracted from green tea that is one of nature’s mood enhancers. Theanine shifts brain waves into the relaxed alpha state and increases levels of dopamine, one of the most powerful reward chemicals in the brain. This helps the brain respond to stress and stay alert and focused while still remaining calm and relaxed.

Cyracos®

CYRACOS® is a standardized extract of Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis L) that maintains the botanical’s long-appreciated anti-stress properties. Cyracos® is especially potent for anxiety and insomnia. It also improves cognitive performance and elevates mood.

Passiflora

PASSIFLORA (passion flower) is an edible fruit derived from and American vine and flower. PASSIFLORA was found to be effective in treating insomnia, anxiety and epilepsy. All 3 of these conditions are caused by inadequate GABA inhibitory activity. The chemicals in passionflower have been shown to have calming, sleep inducing, and muscle spasm relieving effects

Welltrim® IG

WELLTRIM® IG is a standardized extract of the seeds of African mango, Irvingia gabonensis. It contributes to weight management by improving the function of several key hormones that control appetite, satiety, fat burning, insulin sensitivity, and the conversion of sugar into fat. WellTrim® IG also helps increase metabolic rate. The results are a reduction in percent of body fat, waist size, and hip size.

Black Pepper

BLACK PEPPER is a 4,000 year old spice and medicine created when the unripe seed berries from the Piper nigrum flowering vine are dried and ground. Black pepper can help improve digestion and the assimilation of nutrients. It also improves immune function and helps reduce depression, pain, and inflammation. It stimulates the breakdown of fat cells and inhibits their production, and helps eliminate excess fluids from the body thereby aiding weight loss.

Each of these botanical ingredients in TranquiliTea is categorized by the Food and Drug Administration as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS).

Clinical Indications

Astragin™

Astragin™ research indicates a positive result in weight management in three significant ways: Astragin™ increases absorption of arginine, which is an amino acid that helps with fat burning, by 66.7%. Astragin™ also increases absorption of tryptophan, which is the amino acid that builds the feel-good brain chemical serotonin, by 52.5%.. And, Astragin™ increases vitamin absorption by 50%.

Theanine

Research on theanine found the herb better in reducing anxiety and even general symptoms of mental illness than a placebo. It also moved healthy subjects into the state of relaxation that accompanies alpha brain waves, and when consumed as tea theanine improved mental functioning among the oldest of the old in China.

Cyracos®

Human studies of Cyracos® show dramatic improvements in just two weeks including a 72 percent reduction in tension and other anxiety-related symptoms. In one study 85 percent of subjects reported full elimination of insomnia and 70 percent of subjects enjoyed elimination of anxiety. In another study subjects reported a 33 percent reduction in eating problems and significant reductions in fatigue and guilt.

Saffron Extract

In a study of mildly overweight women those taking the saffron supplement significantly reduced their snacking and lost more weight than those taking a placebo. In other studies saffron proved more effective than placebo in successfully reducing depression and was equally effective as two commonly prescribed antidepressant pharmaceuticals.

Passiflora

Passiflora has been shown in several studies to produce changes in brain activity that are related increased GABA neurotransmitter action. This mechanism has been shown to be a function of the flavonoid properties of Passiflora. Passiflora type flavonoids have a high affinity for GABA receptors on neurons in the brain, resulting in a significant increase in this systems inhibitory function. Cortical GABA action inhibits deeper brain structures, including the thalamus that plays a key role in establishing the brains electrical pattern.

Welltrim® IG

A double-blind, placebo-controlled human study of overweight and obese subjects concluded with those taking WellTrim® IG enjoying a reduction in body weight, body fat, waist size, fasting blood sugar, and leptin (a hormone produced by fat cells that increases appetite and weight), and an increase in adiponectin (a hormone produced by fat cells that helps reduce insulin sensitivity and weight). (CR)

Black Pepper

Using an animal cell model scientists found piperine in black pepper interferes with genes that control the formation of new fat cells. In other studies piperine enhanced the burning of fat cells for energy.
