Although Balafive™ does not have any pregnancy warnings and contains only ingredients that are derived from natural occurring plants and foods, it is best to not participate in the program while pregnant. If you become pregnant during the program, discontinue use.

No. All BALAFIVE™ products are low in calories and carbohydrates (less than 10% Daily Value), but provide a substantial amount to meet your daily recommended needs for optimal function.

This includes (but is not limited to), Marplan (isocarboxazid), Nardil (phenelzine), Parnate (tranylcypromine) or Emsam (selegeline). Balafive can increase serotonin levels, so if you are taking an SSRI for depression, you may want to consult your physician.

Some of the products do contain a small amount of caffeine, but it is small amounts, no more than or equal to a quarter cup of coffee.

Most of the functional food products in BalaFive have a two-year shelf life. Whereas, the dietary supplement tablets have a five year shelf life.
